REGISTRATION FORM

Please read the following policies carefully. These terms govern your participation in our Beginner Driver Education (BDE) program. By registering, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to these conditions.

Lesson Cancellation Policy

Students must provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel a scheduled lesson. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in a $50 per hour cancellation fee, payable to the instructor.

In-Car Lesson Location

All in-car lessons will take place within the city limits selected at the time of registration. Pick-up and drop-off outside city boundaries will only be permitted if prior arrangements have been made and confirmed with the instructor.

Driver’s Licence Requirement

Students must carry their valid physical Driver’s Licence card during all in-car lessons. Paper copies, temporary documents, photocopies, or electronic versions will not be accepted.

Payment Requirement

In-car lessons will only begin once full payment for the course has been received and processed. No driving instruction will be scheduled or conducted until the account balance has been paid in full.

Course Completion Requirement

Students must complete all online modules, homework assignments, and in-car lessons within 365 days (one year) of registration. Failure to complete the course within this timeframe will require re-enrollment and repayment of the course fee. This is a Ministry of Transportation (MTO) requirement and cannot be waived.

No Refund Policy

Once the online course access link has been issued or sent to the student, no refunds will be granted under any circumstances. Registration fees become non-refundable immediately upon course activation.

Conduct and Responsibility

Students must not attend any driving lesson while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may impair their ability to drive safely. If a lesson cannot proceed for this reason, a missed lesson fee may apply. During in-car instruction, students assume full responsibility for any traffic violations, fines, penalties, or demerit points issued by law enforcement or through court proceedings. Any penalties incurred during lessons — including while using the instructor’s vehicle for a road test — remain the student’s responsibility.

Information Authorization

By registering, students certify that all provided information is accurate and authorize the release of relevant information to: The Ministry of Transportation, The Insurance Bureau of Canada and Any auditing body appointed by the Ministry.
